Writing as a teenager
Writing as a teenager can be easy, but it can be hard as well. Since, social media is big part of our daily lives it is easier to share our thoughts with others by posting things. Also, we tend to share our opinion about everything which is why it is much easier to write as a teenager. Although writing can be easy it can be difficult because when we are given assignments it is harder to write because it is much harder to express our opinions. Also, when we are given writing assignments it is much harder to write because we need to have certain things in our writing. Writing can be easy but, sometimes it tends to be hard.
So i think what you are saying is that although teenagers may write a lot on social media, it isnt as difficult for them to express themselves. Writing becomes more difficult when there is a "forced expectation" and most certainly an assignment rubric might pose the details..

ReplyDeleteOn the one hand I have to agree with your post, but on the other hand I have to disagree. I totally agree with your opinion that writing can be hard, and can be easy for teenagers. But I dont't think that it's harder to write something about a assignment which we get. Mostly it's easiert becuase the topic give you the ideas which you can write about than thinking about something by your own.

When it comes to social media however it becomes easier because no one is grading. I agree with what you say because it's just you and you get to write exactly how you feel.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, it is easier to express feelings with your friends. When it comes to writing in assignments that has to do with our feelings it is harder to show teachers, we sometimes think they wont understand.
ReplyDeleteI think it is also easier to express your feelings with your friends too, because of the fact that when we are with our friends, we use slang and not proper English. However, when teachers ask us to put our feelings on paper, it's a little more difficult since we know we're getting graded on it, or if we're not comfortable with our teachers reading our thoughts.

ReplyDeleteI think you are right about how it is easier to wright our opinion on social media then it is to write your opinion for your assignments. When your writing your opinion on social medias all your doing is typing how you feel but when it comes to writing assignments it is harder because you are very limited to what you can say, what words you can use and how you form your writing.
ReplyDeleteTrue, when were actually interested in writing something we express ourselves 100%. However when its something that we don't enjoy we end up not doing the assignment or doing a poorly job on it.
