Do you think it is OK for employees to take things from work for their personal use
I don’t think that employees should take things for their personal use because it is unethical and it will be like stealing from their job. I think that they should get a discount but shouldn't use the supplies from work for their personal use. People shouldn't get things from their job because it is only used for their work not for their needs. I think it is okay for people to use the resources from work. I think that people should rely on the help they can get from their job. I think that people shouldn't take things from their job.
I think its true when you said that the supplies are meant for the job and not their needs. People should be thankful that the company provides them with supplies and equipment.
ReplyDeleteLiliana, you make some good points, but bottom line, people need to know that there are supplies for work and what they need to do at work, but that does not apply to using those same supplies for a personal need.

ReplyDeleteWork supplies are used for work only. That's the way I see it. We wouldn't anyone going into our house and taking our things.

ReplyDeleteIt is not ok, what so ever. I think that people tend to take advantage of their work place. I don't think that is very ethical. I understand how people are comfortable to feel their entitled to that but you should always ask before you take.
ReplyDeleteyes i agree with isaiah i think people try to take advantage of their workplace and take things home or used them as if they were theirs and they might brake them and not care but the employee does care because its costing him or her money
